Installing a car audio system correctly?

i have 2 10" subs and a amp and i was wondering does anybody know a website or knows how to install a system correctly i want and equal amount of bass and vocals and to sound nice and crisp i don't want one of those system where you cant hear the vocals and only bass do i need a equalizer or can i just adjust something on the amp
