I want to know your perspective on innovation in the gaming market.
I think innovation in the gaming market has all but dwindled away, with developing prices of games sky rocketing companies try to "keep it safe" by release slightly revamped versions of a previous franchise.
I believe if there is little to know innovation in the next five years the video game market will soon go bankrupt not because necessarily there is no one buying games, but the games itself cost so much to make.
Developers need to really start to think about the unknown and outside of the box in order to hold the attention of the user (gamers). Granted the Nintendo Wii is a step in the right direction, but is it really enough...what do you think?
