I have recently become engaged and have already started the planning process for my wedding. My fiance and I have decided that we want to have an outdoor reception where we could have a large tent put up. We have considered asking some friends or family members for use of their back yards but I worry they won't have large enough yards to accommodate a guest list of what we hope to keep under 200.
What I'm would like to know is where are some outdoor venues that would allow us to bring in rentals like tents, tables, chairs, and whatnot. Our budget is small and we would like to keep costs down. Also, allowing outside catering is a MUST for us.
Our ceremony will likely be held in Lake Orion, MI. So we'd like to keep the reception close to the ceremony site. No more than 40 minutes away if possible.
