Inbetweeners Series 3 Discussion

Different people do different things when they freak out.

I whitied and curled up into the recovery position, my mate burst into tears and we had to put him to bed.

I felt sorry for Will tonight with Jay practically trashing his house.

Let's hope there isn't an increase in flower vandalism, or else there will be complaints.

I'm surprised nobody's picked up on the glaring error of the episode. Warwick University isn't actually in Warwick - it's in Coventry and the majority of its students live in and around the campus, in Coventry.

For the record, the Uni was built on land just outside the then-city boundary that was owned by Warwickshire County Council. A deal was struck that the university would take the name of the county town, Warwick - and a confusion was birthed that goes on to this day. Warwick railway station still gets people wandering up and down outside asking where the university is.

When it was first mentioned in the episode and then several times before they actually got there, I thought it was being set up as a gag. I thought the laRAB were going to turn up in Warwick while Tara waited in Coventry 10 miles away!

Leave it at 3 series.

It's already a bit of a stretch - still good though.

Highlights this week:

Simon's shouting at his parents - and his dad's "You're not doing biology."

Neil: "I'm pretty experienced at fingering......"

Eating the bonzai tree

The idiot Uni guys

Jay: "So, is this threesome happening or what?" and the final "beep beep beep beeep beeep......"

Simon cursing the lack of action down below.

Personally I think Joe Thomas is a pretty good actor - understand the part he is playing.

Neither the bullshit nor the stupidity were that prominent in Series One; something I noticed in Series Two as when watching series one originally, I believed Jay's stories and didn't realise Neil was stupid until he went on the field trip.

As for it being believable/realistic, it is in the fact that each individual incident could happen to someone, but one person would only ever be unfortunate enough to have one thing from the entire 18 episodes happen to them. The backstage of the gig, for me, was the most realistic.
