I just think it's brilliant. The writing and acting is spot on, and so realistic. It's like everyone's had at least one thing happened to them at school. I remember having a French teacher who had a left earring stud. We also discussed his gayness.
More, more, more.
I think it could work if it carried on after A levels. It wouldn't be hard to get them all to go to the local college, as they're all clearly not top university material.

Funny how much older the girls look, but the boys still look the same!
 
Neil is my favourite too - for some reason I find that way he walks really funny :)

(I loved his "I don't want to be there to watch her push the baby out of her arse" line too)

I loved Ep. 3 - the dialogue seemed a lot sharper. The 'beep-be-de-beep' isn't as catchy as 'friend...' but I can still picture people using it in real life.
 
Funny you say that as there were a few people on the Guardian's blog laughing at how there boyfrienRAB had hit themselves in frustration!

And as a 25 year old female I can tell you Simon not being able to get it up could have many many many reasons. Most likely given the situation nerves and anxiety.

And I can indeed say hand on heart this isn't just an occurence in teenage boys! (But I can also say hand on heart is that nice girls will understand and sympathise, we are not machines...)
 
I liked the way that Simon's (Will's) voiceover finally referenced how incredulous it seems that a pedo teacher is still in employment.

I like it when shows briefly detach from the portrayal to take a 3rd party view, for want of a better description. Regardless of whether or not that was the intention here.
Family Guy, of course, does it extensively.
Also Harry Hill on TV Burp, with those 'to the other camera' remarks.
