Inbetweeners Series 3 Discussion

I've loved most of this series but last nights was definitely the weakest for me. I kept waiting for the party and the introduction of some of the other characters. But they seemed to decide against that and ended up not really knowing what to do with "Will being home alone".

While Will kicking the door was funny, the final scene didn't have the usual payoff that you get on the show. I'm not an animal person but the squirrel and dead dog jokes just weren't particularly funny.

This is the one aspect I didn't get. Surely they've all cottoned on to Jay by now? You can understand Neil hanging on his every word but I thought Simon was a little brighter than that!

Nevertheless the best episode of the series so far for me. Lots of great moments. Neil pissing in the bed was hilarious. :D

I enjoyed this week's episode although I prefered last week's. I loved Jay running off shouting "That's what they want you to believe" at the end.
As for another series, I don't think that would be a good idea. For me, there wasn't as many laugh-out-loud moments this week.

Was probably the weakest of this series. 'You could call me daddy' was pretty much the highlight of the episode for me. Shame there's not so much Gilbert/school stuff anymore.

Yeah, still on West Hill, sticks out quite a bit around all the new developments on either side of it. I was quite disappointed Dartford didn't get a vocal mention, though. I suppose Gillingham was just a bit more famous.

I found the programme funny as I always have. However the boys are looking too old to play their supposed ages.

By the way, I always thought 'inbetweeners' meant they are between youth and adulthood, but apparently the word may mean their social status? Somebody posted earlier, I think, that it means they are between 'nerd' and 'cool'.

I originally thought it was because they were in the sixth form, between school and university. But it seems the title does refer to their social status: not cool, but not completely tragic either.
