A friend of mine is contesting that the kicker still plays a role even when not in the 5 card hand.
Though, I'm trying to explain to him that in this situation, the pot would be split because the kicker cards (his 10 and my 3) are thrown away because 5 cards are already in play for the full house. (8's and 3's)
