In regards to acting or not acting on climate change?

Considering there is no actual proof either way that it is being sped up by man or not (although the majority of climatologists (the only scientists who opinion should really count in the debate) say it is because of man) what is the better scenario?

Doing nothing and then it turning out to be real

or

Acting now and getting off fossil fuels which in turn improves air quality and health and causes energy prices to remain stable because coal and oil arent going to be cheap forever.

So which is it?
I dont support carbon trading at all just to let you know. Carbon trading benefits business over people. The scientific majority still says climate change is being sped up by man
 
Since thousands of scientists are also offering proof that climate change is not occurring to the degree that others say it is, and those "others" are the ones that liberals run to...I think it is wise of all Americans and those from other nations check the money trail. See who is profiting from this. Taxing every human being for breathing seems a bit incredible, does it not? I am not buying it, but good ole Al Gore is getting filthy rich from it. That should tell everyone something. Please wake up America.
 
I go for Green energy all the way . If not for Republican neo cons ( in particular ) green energy would have happened on a much larger scale years ago back in the early 80's. Resulting in much cleaner cheaper energy .
I can hardly forgive Republicans on this issue . So much is at stake .
 
We are doing plenty to clean up the air and we have been working on this in earnest since the 70's. But to spend money just to spend money impacts the quality of lives of millions of people who can no longer afford to heat or cool their homes, just to satisfy a tool with a cause? I think not. This is a very complex issue that needs a bit more thought than just jumping off a cliff like a fool with my money in your hands.
 
goverment can't even control spending how do you think they are going to be able to control the clime, give me a break
 
Science isn't a vote... it's facts and repeatability.

There is NO proof that MGW is a crisis. There are correlations and flawed computer climate models, but those are not proof.

In fact, the computer models may be wrong, as discovered by Dr. Roy Spencer.
