In general, on this forum it seems very obvious that Christians are more poorly

Now really! get off your podium. What qualifies you as judge. Please do not whitewash or lump Christians into one 'slot'.

There are many question and answers made here, that leaves a lot to be desired. R/S encompasses all nationalities, and many do not have English as their first language. Hence, spelling mistakes or poor wording. This does not mean poor education.

Just curious, how many languages do you speak? Or what education do you have?

Your question seems suspiciously hate full.

I totally disagree with you. I have found wonderfully educated, tolerant and loving Christians are on here along with other people of religious or non religious beliefs and credos.

I have found that some horribly uneducated and mean spirited atheists can frequent this site too.

Humanist.

I disagree. I think that, as a whole, the percentage of ignorant or judgmental answers evens out between beliefs. Have you been here long?

because they only learn what they want to learn and are blind to everything else while i am open to learning anything.

I wouldn't go so far as to say this "forum" represents anything fairly in general except of the users thereof, which doesn't raise the bar a whole lot, yours truly excluded. Since you are soliciting an opinion, mine is this. With all we know about the earth and cosmos this day and age, to believe in malevolent sky spooks one has to either (1) have suffered a head-on collision with a stupid truck carrying a full load of dumbass, or (2) be so full of themselves that they, paragon of creation that they are, believe they will have brain function "forever" with the help from above and as a bonus, are a tad reassured at the thought of being "called home."

Depends on the Christians too -- most Catholics here are extremely intelligent.

There are some pretty moronic atheists present as well.

I guess I am saying we can't generalize.

I agree that the more educated that someone is in the sciences, the less likely they are to believe in the supernatural.

As for it being a fair representation on this forum. I doubt it. There are so many satirist and trolls that its difficult to tell which is real and which is not. I know some fairly educated Xians (not in sciences), but they aren't fundies either. Hard core fundies do tend to limit and control the eduction of their follows by home schooling their kids, making it a 'sin' to associate with too many people outside their church and by indoctrinating bad sciences. I don't think that this is the majority of Xians in the real world, but I do think there is an alarming rate of them on this forum. And the US has atheist at only about 10% of the population, and yet they do seem to be closer to 50% of this forum. So although I do agree that as a whole the more education a person has, the less likely they are to be religious, I would never use this forum to try and support such an argument.
