In Final Fantasy 8, when you use the Card ability, is there a way to make sure you get

the rarer cards? I am playing, and fighting against Elastoids and Gespars, and I am wondering if there is any way to increase the odds of getting the rarer cards the monsters when you use the Card ability.
And yes, this is for the PS1 version....not the PC....
