In California do they make you take a eye test for license test?

where ever you live, did they make you take one? or only for the permit test?
 
Yes, you are required to take an eye test to obtain a learner's permit or a driver's license.
 
For the permit they make you take an eye test, so if you need glasses or contacts you should wear them. They don't make you take an eye test for the behind the wheel test, but they look at your permit and if it says you need corrective lenses to drive then you have to where your glasses or contacts while taking the test.
