i'm embarrassed to ask this since i've been bass fishing for over 30 years. when people say, "i caught a 6 lb. kicker" or "my bag was 24 lbs. anchored by an 8 lb. kicker" what do they mean? is a kicker simply the biggest fish in the bag? or, is a kicker a big fish that is caught after 5 legal fish are caught and "kicks" one of the smaller fish out of the livewell? or, is a kicker the last fish caught before weigh-in?
