Fumbling with my buckle,
she murmurs
'hurry'.
Is a doctor ever
patient, in his flurry
of diagnoses,
or do his patients
fumble
and murmur
about his improper thrombosis,
or other blood induced
medical jargon?
'Did you hear?'
'I heard he slept with his patient'.
'Stop fumbling with my buckle
and finish the story'.
With downcast eyes I murmur:
'...and hurry.'
she murmurs
