It doesn't matter. The point is that the RW-GOP oppositionism and hatemongering we see now is nothing new, it's they way they work, and its roots are in partisanship rather than racism. Again, it's about the claim by the idolators that no hatred could ever have been or be in any way nearly as strong as the hatred for their own favorite superhero. Of course it can, and has been, and will be again for somebody else.People hated Bill Clinton. It was obsessive, it was excessive, and it was downright creepy. I see no evidence that the hatred for Obama is less. You do? Fine. It's at least an arguable position.
