Im looking for a good Subwoofer..?

im looking for a good subwoofer..i had an alpine type r 15 with a alpine 1000 watt rms amp..the sub ended up blowing...i want something thats some what clean...but something that has alot of SPL...i want a speaker that pounds and is cheaper then the W7...i was thinking either the 12 type x..or a 15 solobaric L7...let me know your opinions?
 
Fi Q - if you want something more SQ oriented
Fi BL - a more SPL oriented sub.

Both of them would do well off 1kwRMS. You never specified how much you want to spend, though. Both of those run around $300.
 
15 solobaric L7 it is a way better choice and it packs a way better punch. I say go for it and buy the 15 solobaric L7...
 
If you have room, I would go for two JL w3's or w6's. With 1000 watts rms I would get the w6's and 12"'s. I don't fuxx with the kickers on the subs, only amps.
