im having issues with my car amp.?

i have a 500w insignia amp, you may say its a crap amp but it pounds this shit out of my 12inch kickers to the point where it cracks my windshield but, anyways im having ground issues is there anyway i can run it right to the negative on the battery
 
You want to have your ground within 12 Inches of where the AMP is mounted....

You didn't explain what the issue you are having is.
