The absolute must have is a laser collimator: collimation is something beginners always find troublesome and poor collimation is a good way of crippling the performance of even an excellent scope. It is particularly important on faster scopes and at f/4.7 that scope is relatively fast. Don't trust any assertions of the "It's precollimated at the factory" form since any knocks in transit will soon knock the collimation off. A laser is without a doubt the easiest method for beginners to get something like true collimation so getting one from day one should be a no-brainer.

The next thing I'd be looking for is a mid-power eyepiece since there is a large gap between 48x and 120x with the supplied eyepieces. I'd be thinking in terms of 15 or 16mm for 80x or 75x respectively.
