Do you have $3,900 to blow away? That may happen.

Think about it, this crap about buying insurance, but not transferring the title/registration sounds like a scam or it could be possible he does not in fact own this Ninja period. The guy on the previous registration/title may actually be the "real" owner vs this guy on craigslist.

There is one other possibility and that the previous owner could still have a loan on it, and if so, then the lien-holder has the title, so cant get registered or titled until the loan is paid off.

Get in touch with the BMV of your state and find out if there would be a problem. This sounds like a lot of potential problems if you dont know the answers 1st.

good luck

...I'M NOT TO SURE...? NOW SEE IT'S GOING FOR 3900,LOOKS NICE AND ALL, THE GUY BOUGHT IT OFF HIS CO WORKER HAS ONLY 1500 MILES ON IT, BUT HE NEVER GOT IT REGISTERED IN HIS NAME,ONLY GOT INSURANCE ON THE BIKE, MEANING HE NEVER SIGNED THE PINK SLIP BUT ONLY HAD THE BIKE FOR A MONTH AND ALREADY WANTS TO UPGRADE. THAT BEING SAID IS IT GOING TO BE OKAY TO REGISTER IN MY NAME IF I SIGN IT WHICH WOULD REALLY MAKE ME THE SECOND OWNER, IS IT GOING TO STILL BE IN HIS FRIENDS NAME? OR DOES ALL OF THIS STUFF EVEN MATTER? IT'S A GREAT DEAL TOO. I'M GUESSING HE NEVER HAD TIME TO GO GET IT TRANSFERRED IN HIS NAME....
