...four 15in kicker cvr's? rated 500rms. I have a brutus bxi2608 rated 2600 rms, in a vented box tuned to 27 hz(help me with my math 40wx18hx40L) will my speakers survive everyday riding and does this sound like a winner? PS 4 6x9s, 4 door speakers, 12 tweets im in chicago so there all from pops
i wanted to go with cvx's (1500w max 750w rms)but i thought they would be underpowered by the amp. no competition just every day riding.
forgot to mention, this is the size recommended by kicker for a vented box on this sub. IDK the site I checked but this box will also have a 1.5" vent on all four sub chambers.

If I'm doing the math correctly, you're giving each sub 4 cu. ft. of air, even if you assume the volume of the port, that's a very large box, which will mean your subs are going to only operate below 60Hz or so, and with your low end extension falling at 27Hz, you're limiting yourself to literally about a 30Hz range, so as far as Comps go, it will be an alright setup, though CVRs will never be able to run with the big boys, but as far as daily driving goes, it will be an absolutely annoying boomy system with no dynamic range.

**Just out of curiousity, why the hell would you use 12 tweeters!? If you need to supplement the high end that desperately, use a ribbon or horn system.

are you looking to do competition stuff or are u just looking for a good system to bump everyday?

this is gonna be too much for an everyday systen and its gonna have poor sound quality

kicker for life
