As I mentioned in the Igor NYCC panel report, my big fear for this movie is that it'll end up like Meet the Robinsons, which was a great concept that was done by really earnest people, and it almost worked. The problem was that it seemed to spend too much time stuffing the movie with good ideas and not enough time developing them. MtR was good, but too chaotic and random to be truly great, and I'm concerned that Igor turn out the same way.

Still, at the very least they're going off in a different direction than the pack and there were certainly laughs to be found in the trailer. We'll find out soon enough, I guess.

The character designs are pretty decent, the voice of Igor I think needs a more Peter Lorre push to it. looks much better than Space Chimps which looks bland as hell.

I'm actually looking forward to seeing this one next weekend. Chris McKenna of American Dad fame wrote it, so hopefully the gags are pretty well done.

Been looking forward to this one for a while now. About time we got to see another Igor character in a movie again. And of course John Cleese as a mad scientist sounds very interesting.

The film seems to have an interesting premise, but the trailers...sigh...fart jokes, burp jokes, and not one funny one-liner...kinda reminds me of Doogal...
