"Igor" - Talkback(Spoilers)

The character designs remind me of Tim Burton's stuff. The movie itself has a good premise and it looks pretty funny too. Let's hope for the best.

Edgar and Ellen wasn't just pulled out of nowhere though. It's based on a series of books.

I keep seeing commercials on every channel for Igor, no matter what type of channel it is. Chiller, SciFi, Lifetime, etc. so it seems like they're already advertising the hell out of it. I just hope it does well in the theatre.

Y'know, as a fan of monster movies and animation, I'm pretty jazzed about this (however, I should note that the hunchbacked assistant should really be named "Fritz", not "Igor", but that's beside the point).

Between this and next year's Monsters vs Aliens, it may turn out to be a good time for animated monster movie send-ups.

I've been seeing the ads for this thing everywhere, and yet it's generated zero interest in me. It looks like just another in a growing line of CGI films that appears out of nowhere and disappears just as quickly, like Space Chimps and Fly Me To The Moon. The animation design looks rather unappealing, and a clip shown on The Tonight Show a couple weeks ago was equally-uninteresting.

Which I find annoying. I mean, looking at the trailers, you can PLAINLY see how random, unrelated sentences were strung together in an attempt to make bad jokes. It's really quite pitiable.
