IFC Premiere Talkback - Hell Girl (Spoilers)

Those girls said they were going to ask Ai to send that bully to Hell. I was wondering if Ai still had to do that for such a petty reason.

It's Hell Girl time again!

This week, it's bedlam under the big top.

My vengeance sense is tingling!

Dang, Ai, hire a writer. You've been using that same speech for the last fifteen episodes.

GAAH! CLOWN!

Tsugumi's gonna have SOME nightmares when this season is over.

GAAH! CLOWN!

No moths were harmed during the taping of this episode.

GAAH! CLOWN!

Err, Tsu-chan, you probably don't want to see the kind of tricks she can do.

Goth cute. *shiver*

You've got a funny way of trying to save her.

I see this circus is in violation of child labor laws.

You could have said something. Like, maybe, "don't pull the string".

I gotta stop looking at those "one to be avenged" and "one to be damned" bits on IFC's episode guide. HUGE spoilers.

It's a three-ring circus of hell...and you're the star attraction.

Haven't had a good freakout in a long while.

Repent and sin no more, thought it won't do you any good.

"Emily the Strange got NOTHING on how I roll."

Man, I hate circuses.

NICE disappearing act. It looked so...REAL.

Time for another episode of Inferno Ragazza (aka Hell Girl in Italian)

Ep. 4 - Grido Silenzioso (Silent Cries)
A young girl named Junko contemplates taking revenge against a doctor after she learns the truth about the death of her dog.

Happy Circus? Could they pick a cheesier title? (*At least that woman agrees with me.)

Hey, they're actually talking with Hajime...

"I don't know about you, but I'm getting the hankering for some Doublemint Gum."

So the twin's responsible. (Actually, my Tivo guide clued me in on that.)

Oh, how I have missed these revenge scenes.

Stalfos!

Bad news, girl, your twin wishes the same thing.

First time in a while I actually heard someone scream on their way to Hell in this show.

Hajime and Hell Girl face to face next week? This should be interesting...

This week, it's vengeance against vicious veterinarians to vindicate his voiceless victims.
Or in simpler terms, youth in Asia against euthanasia.

How do you comment on a dog death as dramatic as that?

This guy just chews up the Hippocratic Oath, doesn't he?

Death by professional negligence. Now that is insult to injury.

It's like those two girls get paid to promote the website.
Just like how Megatokyo and Homestar Runner get hits--word-of-mouth advertising.

Is this site only up for one minute a day?!

Images of a flaming middle school girl. I wish I could unsee that.

"I did everything I could to save that dog...everything I could do in two minutes."

If dogs could talk.

Here come the judge.

I hope this freakout's better than last week's episode.

GAHH!! EMERGENCY WEATHER BULLETIN!!
Now I'll have to watch the replay to find out what happened to him.
...which I was going to do anyway.

One Encore Presentation Later...

Those costumes are only for goofy pictures people forward to their frienRAB' email addresses.
...on second thought, they should be punished.

Hey! I bet her breath smells like fire and brimstone.

"Now, prepare to face something more horrifying than I...the People for Ethical Treatment of Animals!!!!!"

I bet those animals aren't spayed, neutered or paper-trained.

Now THAT is an Edward Elric scream.

That circus was just like a U.S. circus. It'd be easy to forget that the series is set in Japan.

The anime's cheating: Knife throwing routines are always done using fake knives that spring out of the target. Just like teleporting magic tricks always use twins.

"Get me out of here, I'm trapped!" When Hone started screaming from the box, my thought was, "Gee, don't ever mess with Tsugumi, eh?"

Perhaps Hajime would have some success if he wasn't so inept. I couldn't believe how idiotic he came off when he first met Yuki.

I found this episode especially dissatifying. Yuki the evil twin is only a kid; I didn't think she fully grasped the consequences of her actions enough to deserve Hell. Hmm, then again, Yumi probably didn't realize what she was doing when she damned Yuki either. What I don't get is why Yumi stays with that ringmaster, and no one seems to mind. He was beating her with a whip, for crying out loud. It's that adult that belongs behind bars, and then Hell.

It's quiet now...

Don't go to that light yet, Hajime...

So who's rowing the boat this time?

For a bathing scene, this is really dirty.

Busted

We've buried the girl and saved the village. Let's celebrate with a bonfire!

Next week: the end is nigh (for this season)...

I wonder if it'll end on a cliffhanger.

Here's the behind the scenes:

Ai: Do I have to say this crap again?

Director: Sorry, Ai, but our writers just love it a lot.

Ai: But what if it's boring?

Director: So what? The whole series involve people seeking revenge and ask you to send those mean people to hell.

Ai: At least they're exiting, unlike my repetitive speeches.

Director: You want to be rich?

Ai: (sighs) Okay, okay, just stop bringing that subject, now leave me alone, I gotta watch some Doctor Who.

No, I don't watch Doctor Who, I just think it's pretty hilarious.

In early celebration of Mexico's The Day of The Dead festival, I will post this week's titles in Spanish. Thank you.

Infierno Chica: Episodio 5 - La Mujer En La Torre Alta
Hell Girl: Episode 5 - The Woman In The Tall Tower

This week (according to the IFC.com synopsis), corporate and virtual shenanigans! When the Hell Girl website isn't responding, it's up to the Girl's crew to investigate the goings-on between a company's President and its money-making employee.

This week, secrets revealed and backstory provided!

Previously on Hell Girl... (never thought I'd say that)

"Killing them means going to Hell forever!"
Plus, we'd be out of work!!!

Oh well. See you in Hell, Ai. What's good for the goose is good for the gander.

Five will get you ten they survived that.

Oh, HE'S Sentaro.

Either you're with us or you're with [strike]the terrorists[/strike] Ai.

I see. It's an ancient Japanese version of Carrie.

Such a sweet young girl. Hard to believe she'd grow up to be a harbinger of vengeance.

Can't beat feudal times with their iron-clad mandatory belief systems.

Can we kill your daughter now? We're already behind schedule!

I wasn't peeking!!

Do you realize you've been peeking in on a little girl bathing in the nude? Perverts!!

Did it ever occur to you that it might have been a bad year?!

Will we get their backstories next season?

Organized religion in the wrong hanRAB...a dangerous weapon.

Hate the game, not the player.

Like I said, you mess with the Girl, and you get the Hell.

You know you're bleeding, right?

Not only am I the Hell Girl, I'm also a client!

This week, h311 g3tz h4x0r'd!!!!

I guess even Hell has a spam filter.

I've seen those girls somewhere before...

Ahh. "Evil stepmother".

Welcome to the corporate world, Misato.

How to succeed in business without really trying.

That's one way to solve sexism in the workplace.

Dead Line Corporation is an equal opportunity life-wrecker.

"You're gonna burn in hell for what you've done!"
"That'll be decades from now."
Err, you may want to amend that.

Whoa, no hesitation. She's got something coming.

Guess who's just been downsized.

Enjoy it now, 'cause one day you'll be outsourced.

Don't kill, okay?

Why...does Studio Deen like to do that?

They did something similar to Satoko and Rika in Higurashi, and they've done it to Tsugumi, Ai, and when Ai was little!

This is just too strange for me.

Whoa, this episode nearly left me speechless.... to think the twins who were once so close ended up hating each other and seeking the attention of that fat bastard who favor one against the other. Speaking of the fat bastard, his ass deserved hell and I was left stunned that he didn't get his just dessert but in reality most don't.

I did like the drunken woman who let us know that she was drunk by holding her can, BEER.

And I agree that neither twin fully grasp what they started with Ai. When Yumi grows up and realize that she actually sent her sis to hell over that fat bastared I wouldn't be surprise if suicide is in her future.

Though a dark ep, it did have moments of funny. I couldn't understand why Tsugumi was staring at the box. And then asking Hajime to look at it, only to have them both leave and the box start moving with that lady inside.

Also anyone noticed Ai didn't voiced the preview? Have that happened before?

Tonight, we're locked in the loony bin.
Luckily it's not Arkham Asylum, but knowing this show...

Spooky fog advisory in effect for the next thirty minutes.

Tsugumi will be in SERIOUS NEED of psychological counseling when this is all over.

Okay, fine, but if you see a tidal wave of blood coming out of the elevators, don't come crying to me.

Come play with us, Tsugumi...

I don't think that type of injection's recommended by the AMA.

Ah, Miss Enma. Fashionably late, I see.

An empty sanatorium, all neatly decorated...no hedge maze. We're safe.

Someone's been leaking info to the enemy.

Sorry. We've had so many requests lately that we've had to turn down jobs. We're just so busy these days.

Why does Nina refer to herself in the third person?

Stay right here with me...forever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever...

REDRUM...REDRUM...REDRUM...

"What the hell's going on?"
EXAC--oh wait, this isn't her. Never mind.

Talk about abandonment issues.

I don't care if you can't take revenge for her! SEND HER TO HELL ALREADY!

That's the second biggest dollhouse I've ever seen.

Some fathers are just bastarRAB.

I'd issue a recall on that toy. It's more dangerous than Cabbage Patch KiRAB Snacktime Kid.

Oh well. At least nobody got sent to hell, so...that's good.

She must have the Jimmy/George syndrome.

Hey, I was right. Nina's getting upset!

So Hell Girl doesnt' help ghosts/imaginary frienRAB.

Again, just like Lil Slugger.

ReminRAB me a little of Petite Cossette too.

Next week: Ugh, I wouldn't want to visit that woman all the time either.
