...areas,could you develop anorexia? Im going to eating disorder counselling for "Anorexia".Im not sure if I have it or what my problem is.
Im 5,3 and weigh 41kg.Im 26.
I grew up in a well off area, but left their at 13 or almost 14.My parents are educated, but definitely not rich.My dad descended into complete alcoholism when I was about 12,and worked as a writer and journalist before that.I lived in the well off area from 7 or 8 until about 13,and always lived in good areas before that but the places were rented. My friends were all in those areas and were very well off or "upper middle class",as are other people I know.
My question is,that everything Iv read on the internet saids that to suffer with anorexia you have to come from an upper middleclass background, but financially I dont..My family are educated, but we dont have a lot of money, but I did grow up in good areas.
Does anyone else have a similar experience with anorexia?Has anyone else developed it who is not from a rich family?
