If your entire culture collapsed, how would you respond?

That's the economy, values, priorities, world view, identity, and place in the world. It happened to the "Red Indians" and other indigenous people. It could happen to us - through war and settlement (as in Palestine, Tibet, etc); or through new insight (as in science versus Creationism); or simply through our present life practices proving unsustainable (climate change, etc).
And what if you couldn't pursue your habitual life - or rebuild it? (Think of the indigenous societies now destroyed)

Well, I'd be pretty freaked out that the entire American culture was wiped out so easily! I suppose I should have other culture values from my german and irish heritage... but I really don't. I would continue doing what I always do, regardless of what they said. I don't care if they throw me in prison for doing what I do every day. I'm just one of those people who will refuse to budge when I think someone is doing something I believe isn't right. If they try to make me participate in a religion- I'd flat out refuse. I don't want to worship anything. They can beat me and torture me, but they can't make me believe in anything they do. Even if it's just me that holds on to our culture, I don't care. I'll live how I want and damn what other people say. My philosophy in life is to live with no limits.

Jesus, that would be a huge self esteem breaker.
I'm Greek, and we have a strong sense of culture in our veins, so I don't know.

I don't think I would have anything to brag about lol.
But I would still continue to speak in Greek, and go about the dancing.

just go on with my normal life cus its already happend in
