If you were from another culture, what would you find barbaric in our culture?

Me, ear piercing (not much different than any other piercing), shaving, men wearing ties (seems so foolish to nearly choke yourself all day long) and HIGH HEELS (one day, in the future, people will laugh at high heels, what torture do we impose on ourselves and by free will?
 
Probably the fact that women often leave their children in the care of strangers on a daily basis. (Daycare)

Haha, an exchange student/friend of mine thought that was such a horrible thing. It's really interesting to hear what different cultures think about us.
 
Piercing is a longstanding practice in many non-Western cultures.

But certainly high heels, plastic surgery, waxing, and people starving themselves to be thin.
