...using their choice of words? When was the last time you saw the current debate described as being about health INSURANCE, which it is, and not "health care", which it is most assuredly NOT?

shan: You are simply delusional if you believe the media is not biased towards the left. Hell, even the Washington Post's own ombudsman acknowledged a bias existed during last year's campaign. Over 75% of active journalists in the United States are self-professed liberals.
 
No one disputes that the media is left leaning.

The media has educated people in it.

I'm still wondering why if Obama signs this year it won't be available until October 2013 long after the 2012 elections.

You would think the most important part would be to get the 50 million insured as soon as possible.

It isn't? Why do they refer to illegal aliens as "undocumented immigrants" . Hell, they just call them immigrants now. Why is it that when a cop in Boston sends a private email referring to gates as a "monkey" gets national headlines but when a black man beats a young white female law student to death in Los Angeles it is only in the LA Times? If a white man beat a black female law student to death there would be nationwide media HELLFIRE.

I don't watch tv often. I've wondered about this and whether it's just left-biased media. I am amazed more Americans and even Republican congresspeople aren't saying, "hey! Insurance is not healthcare!" Makes me trust neither side about this, which is why I continue to think the government needs to stay out of healthcare.
 
Boy are you ill informed. Look at who owns the media. There is no left bias in the media.

This is about health care. Our current system favors large corporations deciding what health care you should get unless you have no insurance then you decide what health care you get based on what you can pay for.
 
I would really like to hear someone tell us if anyone has read what has been submitted. The news media has been very biased in all of this debate. But...what goes around comes around!
If we can survive long enough to see it!
 
They are biased, they wouldn't allow comment from Republicans when 0bama had his recent "health care" extravaganza during prime time. They wouldn't even sell advertising to Republican groups.
