last I saw the NFL wasn't affiliated with the republican or democrat party....maybe now a group of Chinese investors can buy a nfl franchise.....they won't let an American citizen buy into a franchise, I would have to wager that there would be less outrage if the Chinese bought it.... oh btw has anyone seen the article on FSU and they have a football player reading at the second grade level? ....does that follow suit for the nfl as well?
 
I don't think Rush Limbaugh was the right person for the Rams. However, I totally agree that it was the negative attention brought on by Sharpton & the media that caused the investors to kick him out. I think it's also unfair to say he's unintelligent because if he were so unintelligent, he wouldn't have so many followers and such a successful radio show.
 
You assume football players are intelligent and educated. That makes you not too smart.

Rush is a conservative. The Republican party has members with many differing political views. Assuming all Republicans are conservative makes you not too smart again.

Why don't you call Rush's show and tell him what you think of him?
 
Intelligence and education as well as the football players had nothing to do with it.

Rush was declined because the Rams didn't want the controversy or to be met with protests everywhere they went.
 
This has nothing to do with the football stars. They had no say.

Limbaugh was given the boot because the partners in the deal did not want to deal with the firestorm that the Rush haters created with the phony racist quotes attributed to Rush and the like.

All they wanted to do was buy a football team, not get involved in a national protest action.
 
The football stars didn't turn him down. He was turned down for not being a liberal. Lies were made up about him and distributed in the media.
