90% there is 10% that it hurts? Should we focus on the 10% that progress hurts and not progress? A new 4 lane thruway goes across the state in 1955. While it is popular for 90% of the state, it hurts the motel and restaurant owners of the road it replaces. Are Indians better off now or back when they could live as they did in 1491? Did the Tennessee Valley Authority improve everyone's life but those who lost their homes? Can't we have progress without hurting the minority of 10%?

All I know is 100% of the United States progress has negatively effected the Natives to this land. They had minimal to no diseases, their life was so simple, they got robbed, big time.
