If I receive financial aid and drop a class worth only 1 unit will my 2nd check be less?

I received a check for 1040$ and and dropped one short term class worth 1 unit and never add the 3 credit class I was on the waiting less. Now I am enrolled in only 9 units. will my second check at the end of the semester be less.
