I would have to say by looking at your situation that yes, you would be at the present time disqualified. At one time it may have been waivered provided you had all of the medical documentation from your Doctor by the National Guard but the Guard is over manned currently and really not waiving anything. And no, the Army/National Guard doens't take just anyone. Your chances do get much slimmer with AF, Navym Marines and CG. I would give yourself some time, follow the medical advice given to your by your physician and see where you are with your condition a year or two down the road. No, do not lie and if a recruiter says to do so, you would be a fraudulent enlistment and kicked out, you wouldn't be charged with any crime but it would follow you through life.
