I am 5'3 and 151lbs and female. I would like to go down to 140lbs. I used to keep the resistance really tight and that would only allow me to burn 250 calories in 45 minutes because it would make me go slow. I didn't lose a single pound in a year doing this. But now I loosened up the resistance and I can go really fast and burn 500 calories in an hour. If I keep this up will I lose weight? Of course this is combined with a 1200 to 1400 calorie diet
