i was wondering if a 12" jl w3v3 would be louder and sound better then a 15" kicker

solo classic? The jl w3v3 would be in the recommended size ported enclosure with 500 watts rms and the kicker solo classic would be in the recommended sealed enclosure with 700 watts rms
