I need some quick clear advice on car audio.?

I want opinions from people on what they have and what they think are the best speakers. I was wondering if someone could give me advice on a good system as a whole (speakers, subs, head unit, amp, etc) Just tell me what you think are the best speakers and if it is possible to stay in a 500-800 dollar range for the whole system. if not i might just add two twelve inch subs to the speakers i already have and if so what are good subs in general
