4 in a ported will be louder
6 in sealed will be alot cleaner in the bass
eitherway though they are still hifonics woofers and you still did little research before buying.

the 4 in ported if they are the same kind of subs, unless they are a thinline sub meant to be ran in sealed, really depends on the subs dude

6 12s in a sealed enclosure 1 cubic ft per sub, or 4 12s in a vented enclosure 1.4 cubic ft per sub..........pros and cons and which would b louder
