After spewing oil into the gulf for 7 days, the government should have stepped in, even if they had to fake like they knew what they were doing. Our coast is so fucked and the worst is yet to come. Already had 2 major fishing tournaments cancelled here. Fuck this shit.
 
Naturally, you won't like this, but I think this is a case in point as for why we need MORE regulation.

They accident can wipe out the economy, ecosystem, and liveliehood of the entire gulf coast.
 
my first instinct is to not have a problem with the gov't regulating shit like this.
 
I hope spike lee makes a documentary about the Obama administration's lack of swiftness in handling this matter
 
we're talking about a company with insane money, and our gov't with unlimited money

shit should have been fixed within a week
