i always put premium in my bikes but who cares about a 250, you might as well be riding a vespa

Always give year, make, engine size and model # when asking questions. We need all of that info to give an informed answer.
Sometimes the year can make a difference.

Unleaded
Premium or regular will be fine in that model.

If he says unleaded, I would stick with the unleaded-it's basically the same thing as super, only it's a lot cheaper.

All Japanese bikes from the 1970s are designed to run on 90 octane, but the US uses a different octane rating system, and your Ninja will run happily on your 86 octane.
