i have two JL W6's v2 hooked up with the JL 1000/1... how do i set up the amp

settings for them 2 HIT/clean? I need to know how to set the amp right for the subs to hit hard and clean.... this amp got "Q" settings i dont know wat that is?? Also i need some advice for highs (voice) should i go with Beymas or EVs??
