...are some ideas? I have to focus on only one topic gender roles, food ,religion. So give me some suggestions of a good topic and explain
 
Mexican because Mexican food, Catholicism in Mexico is the second largest religious population in the world after brazil, Mexican women in the 1800's were allowed to drink, gamble, and divorce from their husbands and keep their children, very independent. Plus the Aztecs and di de la muerte, fiestas, Chavez, Huerta who were very important for farm workers, zoot suit riots, 400,000 Mexicans served in WWII. Just a bit of Mexican and Mexican American culture.
