This happend to me.

The worst time it could possibly happen.

4th hour of school.

Thank god my teacher is a moron and couldn't figure out it was me.

I would have been in so much trouble.

Besides that, I'm putting this question on my watchlist because I need to know the answer too XD
 
i have the same problem, i think you have to call virgin mobile customer service and they will tell you how to reset your phone, or they might replace it

...still beeps loudly.? I have a Virgin Mobile phone, the Kyocera X-tc, and, when my phone is on silent, it still makes loud beeping noises. I've figured out that it is because of Mobile IM, which makes sounds despite the fact that my phone is on silent. When I got tired of this, I signed off of Mobile IM and erased my screen name from it. Even though Mobile IM doesn't have a screen name on it and is not signed in, it keeps making loud beeps saying, "Mobile IM requests to start." The phone also will not let me delete Mobile IM off of the phone completely. Please help!
