To be completely honest, with an L7 15", All notions of sound quality have already gone out the window, so just find pretty much any amp you can that is CEA-2006 compliant, and that has 750 watts of RMS power. THD+N won't really have any effect, and the subs linearity is going to deteriorate so quickly, that you wont have time to distort the sub into meltdown.
**I find the above post hillarious. Rockford Fosgate makes some of the best car audio amplifiers in the world. I sell both brands, and I have tested every amp that both companies have produced in the last 7 years, and while both companies always produce the values they claim, no one supplies the power that RF amps deliver. Every 100.1db amp I have EVER tested from fosgate has produced atleast 10% more power than they guaranteed, some of them peaking at nearly 23% above sticker specs.
To call RF cr@p is to imply that you have ZERO actual experience with Fosgate, and that you are mostly likely rolling around in a Toyota Camry packed full of Kicker products, all pushed to the point of irresputable distortion, while you crank up whatever song happens to come on the radio in hopes that someone will look at you and think you are cool.
*How close am I
