your best bet would probably be to try and sell it not trade it. you could probably get aroud 3 or 4k

I have the 2009 Kawasaki Ninja 250 Special Edition Green with only 800 miles on it and was wondering how much trade in value i would get if trading it in towards a 600 cc sport bike or if it would be better to try and sale it straight up if so how much should i ask for? Nothing wrong with bike practically brand new got it back in june just want something bigger.

To be honest just because that is a small bike the dealership will give you 1500-2k trade in value. Which is pretty low if you ask me for a new bike but also can be a good down payment if you credit is ok. If you want more money out of the situation put it on craiglist maybe a parent might be looking for a bike to buy that is safer for there son or anybody. You can probably sell this bike max 3500.
