the amp turns off.? i have my l7 wired in parralel at a 2ohm load.also if i listen to it for even 2minutes without the car on it wont start up.any ides?should i get a cap?or is my amp just up to high?? thanks
My guess is your main electrical wiring is too small. For a 2000 watt amp, if it is truly 2000 watt, and not one of those cheapy off brands that print whatever sounds good, you need at least 0 gauge wire. For anything I do over 1500 watts, I use 1/0 or 2/0 gauge heavy duty welding cable. It's flexible and can handle incredible amounts of power.
