single coil 4 Ohm? I keep overheating. How would I hook it up so it doesn't?
Ok I have it wired the DVC is in parraell red and red and black to black,so i am assuming it is presenting 2Ohms at the amp. The other is a SVC so it is presenting 4Ohm. So if my amp is 2ohm stable that means that it is 2ohm 2 channel and 4 ohm bridged right? So it should be fine the way it is, is what i am thinking.
Also i got the DVC on one channel and the SVC on the other channel.

i had a similar question b4, the answer i got was that its not a good idea to mix dvc and svc subs.
however i would think that you could wire the dvc to 8ohm and then in a series with the svc to get a 3 ohm load.
one thing to keep in mind is the lower the ohms presented to the amp, the hotter it will get...quicker.
you could also try turning the bass boost down but the input level up on the amp, but make sure there is no distortion or clipping.

personally, i would just get another amp for the dvc sub(mono block). both subs would be powered better this way. dvc could be wired to 2 ohms, most mono block amps are 2 ohm stable then just bridge the svc on your current amp.
