prilminary waht does that mean? ???????????????????????????? CAN THAT MEAN BACTERIA IS MOST LIKELY PRESENT IN THE BLOOD? Since hte ther is taking longer does that mean they found bacteria?
 
blood cultures take anywhere from 3-6 days to grow I think. They should have already started you on some prophylactic antibiotic and then they will probably adjust it according to the culture results (aka the sensitivities/ which medicine works for that bug).

So yeah it sounds pretty routine to this point. Good luck.
