I Demand My Money Back!! The Worst Films You've Ever Had To Sit Through

Definitely the Bratz movie. Absolutely horrendous. The things you do to please your daughter!! Thank God for the pick and mix to help me through the trauma..:D

It was Alien 3, then I saw Alien Resurrection. Then I saw Alien vs Predator: Requiem which was just appalling. I could have done better lighting on the stage than they did. The film was just too dark and I don't mean sombre mood! Alien Resurrection should be disowned from the franchise its that bad.

[Rec ] - I dont know what the fuss was about what so ever. When i read negative reviews before I watched it I thought they were just saying it to criticise something popular.... but my god it was dull. not scary at all.
Got tense for the final 5 minutes when theyre in the dark, but apart from that it was just predictable and cheap.

The worst film I have EVER seen in cinema was some pile of ET rip-off garbage called "Mac and Me" which was released in 1988. Fortunately it was a school outing, so it was my parent's money wasted as opposed to my own.

The entire affair was just an excuse to showcase MacDonalRAB and Coca-Cola products in every single frame. I wouldn't watch it again even if Chris Moyles in the VISA ad to the left threatened to sit on my face.

Eternal Sunshine of a spotless mind - Just weird, I switched it off after half 45 minutes and that was pushing my limits severely

The Weatherman - Kept watching waiting for something to happen or a point to the whole thing and nope, nothing, just a waste of a couple of hours

"Oim facking Beowulf, from facking Landon!"

Don't let anyone's opinons stop you from watching a film you already have. We're alll different. Par exemple, I think Gangs of New York is the worst film I've ever seen, but my uncle said it's one of his favourites. If you've already got it, watch it, then you'll be granted license to say it's shit, good, or average.

The happening, The Village...When will M. Night Shyamalan stop making films ???? he's directed nothing good since the sixth sense.

One film i got on video a few years back "something more" which said on the box ' If you like American pie you'll love this'...well i liked American Pie at the time..this was however nothing like it and absolutely garbage..it was and still is the only film i have ever actually physically destroyed in the vain hope that nobody else had to sit through that rubbish (here's hoping that was the last exising copy of the movie).

The only that's ever actually sent me to sleep is Defiance. It had a good enough premise and could have been very interesting but it just went on and on and on and on and on.... and the bad accents were extremely offputting.

Others include:

Christmas with the Cranks - took a younger cousin, we chatted through the second half.
Meet the Spartans - just awful in every way.
Lesbian Vampire Killers - very rushed and silly, not the type of tongue in cheek humour I was after, just genuinely bad.
Eurotrip - a friend put it on at a party, have no idea why he liked it.
Van Helsing - generally bad and made its reinventions of characters too weird and needless.

Indeed the things you sit through to please the kiRAB, have to say was really excited about going to see Kung Fu Panda, trailer looked good etc etc. but that was it, all the fun stuff was crammed into the trailer, the film was the same formulaic garbage spewed out by these big companies in the hope the kiRAB will hen peck you to death into buying the crappy merchandise.

Mind you I must admit merchandise wise, anything linked to the lego formula of gaming say for RAB/playstation, goes down pretty well with me.

Films in the past that I totally didn't get with: Titanic, Naked Lunch, Remake of willy wonka/charlie and the chocolate factory, Fear and loathing in Las Vegas.

Charlies Angels-Full Throttle,i was on a plane so i couldnt walk out!! They then showed it on the plane coming home absolute torture!! Also the Da Vinci Code, had the double torture of the most crap film and the most uncomfortable cinema seat and to put the cherry on top i fell asleep for a good twenty minutes and started snoring as well!! My frienRAB felt the same way about this film too they said my snoring was more entertaining!!!

The Da Vinci Code
The Count of Monte Cristo
Silent Hill
Lady in the Water
Stars Wars Eps 2 & 3 (1 is actually decent)
Indy 4
Freddie Got Fingered

This is a very interesting thread. Some blasts from the past being dredged up from subconscious self-preservation mind vaults and some quite contraversial choices, i would say.

I know I risk upsetting some people, so please keep in mind that I am expressing my views (quite strongly) and will always respect other people's. that said...

I know these things are subjective, but we're talking about the worst films of all time here. I can't believe people are including things like SW prequels or IJ4. Yes, they didn't meet peoples massive expectations and had some fairly cheesy bits, but they surely can't be included in a list of the worst films! In retrospect Ep 1 in particular stanRAB up very well. Next to anything recent by Mr Shamalamamalan they are Oscar material!

Blaire Witch was, for me, godawful... but then I'm not a massive horror fan. However, I could understand why it was so successful and therefore despite me personal feeling I wouldn't included it in my list.

A.I. was OK but no masterpiece.

I must disagree with Niel Luvs BB, though. Vanilla Sky was a towering pile of poo and was in no way intelligent and ranks as TCs worst film. Again, this is a subjective view but for anyone to say it's better than the first MI film (which was pretty good) or even WotW (which has some poor moments and suffers from too many departures form the story) suggests gto me a strange mind is at work.

I suspect some people are nominating films from genres they are not naturally attracted to and therefore are predisposed to frowm upon.

Anyway... a couple more nominations...

Maybe Baby (I bet Hugh Laurie is sooo proud)
Any film with Madonna in
