I Demand My Money Back!! The Worst Films You've Ever Had To Sit Through

I remember working at my local cinema when Sin City came out. I thought it was an original, noirish set of tales that was fun as well as dark. All I heard when the film had finished, from about 100 people was "It was in black and white I hated it". Never mind the content, as long as it has colour then they're happy!

I don't like his music either, and it seems out of place to have R&B in an old-style adventure film, but was the film really THAT bad? There must be some redeeming features, Shirley...

Revelian: what are you on about?? I meant the cinema usher!!! ANd yes, the Indy film was one of THE worst movies I've ever seen. Bratz was better!!

Recent films, though I am so glad I never saw it at the cinema - Cloverfield. After all the hype, this was so bad, the hype was better then the actual film.

For those that mention Seed of Chucky, I'll give you that it was the worst of the franchise; but its supposed to be a comedy horror. If it was a choice between the immaturity of Scary Movie and Chucky, I'll take Chucky anyday.

I haven't, no. To be honest, I don't deliberately set out to watch a bad film and looking at the reviews of that one, it's certainly one that I don't ever plan on paying to watch....if it happens to be shown on TV, I may well take a quick gander though...

Oh yes, you just reminded me. Rat Race is one of the worst films ever made - I want a refund on that one.

IAMMMMW was a great film, however;
great cast: Phil Silvers, Terry Thomas, Spencer Tracy, Sid Caeser, Milton Berle, Ethel Merman, Mickey Rooney, Jim (Mr Magoo) Backus, Peter Falk, Jack Benny, Buster Keaton, Zasu Pitts, The Three Stooges (in a 5-second cameo)... and Groucho Marx and Stan Laurel were nearly in it ....
a good script ....
a great director (Stanley Kramer) ....
6 Oscar nominations and 1 win -
I'm with your teacher on this one! - a classic...

... as is Creature from the Black Lagoon.

PS
I quite liked the recent St Trinians.

Me and my friend actually argued about Lady in the Water whilst in the cinema watching it! We were the only two people in the screen, and out of sheer boredom, I found myself muttering, "this is the biggest load of ^^&! I have ever paid to see." My friend urged me to "give it time," which I was having none of after 30 minutes. I ended up pretending to snore after a while - not something I would EVER do under normal circumstances, but we were the only two people in the screen AND I had never sat through something as mundane and mind-numbing as "Lady in the water" before. Ultimately my friend lost it and started having a right rant at me, which to be honest gave me something to do so all was well :p

Make that a minority of two...

...I also find that film very offensive - showing the Yanks enjoying killing civilian Vietnamese. The audience in the screening were whooping their support - made me feel deeply, deeply sick.

A VERY OFFENSIVE, CORRUPTING FILM IMHO. Most of the cast were high on LSD and alcohol during the shoot too...

Imagine if Schindler's List had been made in the same fashion - it would have been banned.

No need to be embarrassed lol, they've listed some quality films, they said in another post that they basically hate american movies, so heyho. Different folks, different strokes.

OMG! One of the most OVER RATED movies EVER IMO...

I think its reputation destroys it for me. Its supposed to be the BEST THING EVER, according to ooooooh EVERYONE... but it just doesnt do it for me!

I find Brando's performance a bit camped up (if U know what I mean) in it, and I cant take him seriously...

(Its like: oooh, here comes the "deep" acting bit...)

So I feel like a minority of one in regarRAB to Apocalypse Now...:o:o:o

i thin epic movie is up there with films ive wanted to walk out on

also fell asleep in unforgiven i just dont like them type of films

wotw the worst speilberg film prob wot an utter load of drivel

Angels and Demons - the book was bad. The movie was even worse. Tom Hanks should be clotheslined every time he goes near a camera.

Intersection - Richard Gere and Sharon Stone and a car crash (how ironic). No redeeming feature whatsoever. Except for winning a bet with a friend that all Gere really does is get his kit off. He gets them out for the girls in the opening scene if I remember correctly. Oh how we laughed.

Oh how he must of laughed when he collected our entry fees for this absolute dirge of a movie.
