I can't hear any sound in the MIDI sequence in adobe audition 3?

Every time i would press a key on the virtual keyboard or my yamaha keyboard i wouldnt hear anything. iv'e tried everything x.x im new to this program. Is there something i have to do in order to hear MIDI sounds from my VSTi's
 
One of the MIDI sequencers I've worked with, Cakewalk SONAR, requires me to enable MIDI echoing, otherwise I only get VSTi output when I play back a sequence that's already been recorded. I don't know if Audition has something similar, but it's one thing to look for.
