I have looked all around lately trying to find good quality subs. Kicker subs especially the L7 caught my attention when i read excellent reviews on them. i have decided the Kicker 15" L7 sub (2000W-max, 1000 RMS), i am considering using a 1500w max mono amp from Hifonics an above average seems it would fit the L7 (1 ohm stable).

Amp- http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/p_23916_Hifonics_HFi1500D.aspx

From your experience and thought does this combo match up?

Will adding this combo to the back of my infinity QX4 Suv (stock except for new pioneer radio) work out do you think my battery and everything can handle this and still supply all power to the amp?

What kind of enclosure should be used to produce low bass that can be heard blocks away?

I have read reviews of owners describing the 15" L7 sub as the best sub they have ever bought. What do you think of them do you have any suggestion of anything better on the same budget?

What ohm number should i buy on the sub and how would you recommended wiring it to get the highest performance possible without risking serious damage to the sub woofer. The amps supports wiring of 4 ohms: 500 watts x 1 chan. 2 ohms: 1000 watts x 1 chan. 1 ohms: 1500 watts x 1 chan.(amp is probably around 1200 watts max when wired to 1 ohm).

Can the sub on max watts even though it is slightly over the recommended RMS?

I'm not very familiar with car audio so let me know everything you can on this,
Thanks
