...sub=4000max amp=5000max? the subs rms at 3000watt and peak at 4000watt
the amp rms at 4000watt and peak at 5000watt
amp info 4 Ohms: 1000 watts x 1 chan.
2 Ohms: 1600 watts x 1 chan.
1 Ohm: 2500 watts x 1 chan
subs are 2ohm
what would be the BEST way to hook it up to get the most wattage?

I have a cousin who has the identical set up only two of each lol But you need to wire the subs voice coils in parallel....all positives and negatives together and then to the amp....this will present a 1 ohm load on the amp and give you the maximum performance....hope you like it loud man...these things are BEASTS!!!

Do not wire them up parallel.
12" Dual 2 ohms HCCA Series Competition Subwoofer
Power Handling:
* Peak: 4000 watts
* RMS: 2000 watts

That sub is not 3000 watts RMS, it's 2000 watts RMS, with dual 2 ohm voice coils would wire it to 1 ohm and would be sending your 2000 watt sub 2500 watts of power. You could wire it up, but no saying how loud your gonna turn it up, 500 extra watts is alot.

If you wire it up series, it'll be sending your subs 1000 RMS @ 4 ohms. The sub won't get hot because it'll be @ low power instead of trying hard to get a 1 ohm load.

Connect..
Amp to sub positive
negative to positive
and a negative going back to the amp
