i am getting to kicker l7 12 and was wondering what amp and what box to get?

i am getting two kicker l7 12. i need to know if i should put them in a closed box or ported. i listen to mostly to rap so would it make a difference on what box i get. i was also looking at amps and i was looking at the hifonics bxi 2610d mono amp. it has an output of 2600 watt. the subs but out 1500 rms. so what do you think about the amp would it be able to push them without blowing them. and the subs are both 4 ohms if that makes any difference.
 
always put L7's in a ported box. especially if you like hip hop and rap, you maximize the lower tones in the music if the box is ported. get a big box tuned to around 32-34 hz
the hifonics amp you're looking at does 2600 watts at 1 ohm, which you probably wont be doing with 4 ohm subs

the kicker zx1500.1 would be a perfect match. over 1500 watts at 2 ohms
